Rumour has it that the BBC are coming to Crieff to film on Saturday 8th October, with a clutch of highland cattle, wandering about at the Crieff Market. This is the opening day of the annual Drovers’ Tryst, a walking & outdoors festival, which i used to coordinate for a fair few years.
Fab that the BBC have finally connected in. I like to think it was all due to my hard work, years ago, but probably wasn’t! So if you are a day-tripper, come to Crieff that day – as there will be plenty to see. And the market is worth a visit too (i am having a mosaic stall at the November (12th) and December (10th) markets).
both the Garden Flat and the B&B is booked for the first few days of the Tryst, but we do have B&B space from the Monday onwards. For info on the Tryst, visit their site here.
